The first of two properties designed and completed for this Client. This very special stretch of the California coast is astoundingly beautiful. What makes the location great also creates a variety of different challenges for designing, installing, and maintaining a garden here – remote proximity with limited access, very poor soil and steep slopes, poor water quality and minimal precipitation, consistently harsh winds, intense sun exposure, gophers, pigs, cows, deer, etc.

We worked closely with the Client and the rest of the construction team to address these tough issues and completed a great site-specific landscape with a new infinity pool, jacuzzi, protected seating and viewing areas, an orchard and raised veggie/herb beds, walking and hiking paths, cactus and succulent gardens, and native grass and wildflower meadows.
